User Guide
Your first design in five minutes. Enter the flow, temperature and dust duty, and the app carries you from treatment proposals through detailed design, drawings and screening — automatically.
- 1Click Start designing and fill in what you know on the data sheet. (Flow, gas temperature and dust type are enough.)
- 2Leave unknown fields blank. The system fills them in and builds 2–3 design options for you to compare.
- 3Pick one — the detailed design, drawings, screening and PDF are computed automatically.
Two input modes
Switch with the "Beginner mode" checkbox at the top of the data sheet.
No dust-collection background needed. Fill a few required fields, leave the rest blank, and the system supplies particle sizes and densities itself, then presents 2–3 options. Pick one and the calculation finishes on its own.
Uncheck "Beginner mode" and every hidden field opens up. Enter measured site values — hood type, particle size, density, duct dimensions — for maximum fidelity.
Step by step
Fill the data sheet
Click [Start designing] and enter the basic duty. The required values are flow rate (m³/min or m³/h), gas temperature, dust type and target outlet concentration.
💡 Not sure? Pick a similar process from "Select a process (typical values)" at the top — representative values fill in automatically. Replace them with site data as you learn it.
System review
The system flags missing key values and fills in what it can infer from your flow and temperature. When there are no warnings, move on.
💡 Turn on "Beginner mode" to see only the required fields.
Compare 2–3 concepts
Dry, wet and semi-dry trains matched to your conditions, presented side by side with diagrams, trade-offs and 5-year TCO.
💡 Combustible dust brings explosion-protected options into the mix; hot or corrosive gas brings wet and heat-exchange options.
Q&A → final option
Ask whatever you like to narrow things down, answer the closing questions, and one final option is confirmed.
💡 Tell it your constraints — tight footprint, noise limits — and they flow into the design.
Detailed design & deliverables
Only the stages your train needs (3–8) run, sized precisely: hood, duct, collector, fan and safety screening, all on established engineering methods.
💡 From the results screen you can open the flow chart, BOM, 5-year TCO, screening report and PDF report.

Frequently asked questions
- Q. Can I try it without an account?
- The calculators need no sign-up. For the full flow — saving designs, PDF output — sign in and use the free plan for one design.
- Q. Can I order equipment straight from these results?
- The results are for design development. Before permitting or detailed procurement, verify with the authority having jurisdiction over the site.
- Q. I don't know some of the inputs.
- Pick a process at the top of the data sheet to prefill typical values, then replace only the ones you actually know.
